Information about NATA 2013

1. NATA is National aptitude test(online exam) in architecture , the common aptitude entrance exam for admission to B.Arch course

2.  NATA scores are used by admissions authorities of different Government, Govt. Aided & unaided schools / colleges of Architecture, to provide common measure for comparing the qualifications of applicants for admission in to B.arch with equal consideration for their +2 scores .

3. The minimum pass mark in NATA Exam is 80/200

4.Eligibility:Candidates having 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with mathematics as one of the subject, only are eligible for admission to B.Arch.Course.

5.Where to appear for NATA exam?
 NATA exam is to be written in any of the deisignated test centre listed by the NATA authorities.

6.Where can I get the application form for NATA?

The NATA application form costs Rs.1000.00, which includes Nata Test fees, at the designated branches of “Axis Bank” from 15 March 2013.

7.NATA REGISTRATION PROCESS
Approach the Test Center located at college / school of Architecture at a location convenient to the candidate with the filled up form and the documents listed below.

Documents required for Registration

·         Std. X or equivalent exam marklist - attested copy

·         One recent passport size colour photograph, to be pasted on the registration form.

·         Any valid document of identification bearing photograph and signature of the candidate - attested copy

·         Valid email address. (In case you do not possess one, we suggest you to open email account on one of the free service providers such as yahoo, hotmail, rediffmail,gmail, etc. PLEASE DO NOT REVEAL YOUR PASSWORD TO ANY ONE.)

8. How many attempts can I make in NATA online exam?
NATA can be given as many number of times as desired by the candidate. For every attempt, however, a new form will have to be purchased from the designated branches of the Axis Bank.
The mark list will show the average of marks scored by the candidate in his last attempt and his previous valid score.

9.What is the Last date to write NATA exam?
Nata Test shall commence from 15 th  March, 2013 and can be given on any working ay till 31^st August, 2013 at designated Test Centers. However, some test centers may open late or stop conducting tests even before this date. Please check with the center before you go for registration.
Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

10.What is the NATA exam question pattern?
The test is in two parts.
PART  A – Aesthetic sensitivity test
Online test - Objective type questions – 40 nos – 100 Marks – 1 hour
PART  B – Drawing test
Paper based test – 3 questions – 100 Marks – 2 hours

11.What is the last date for NATA exam?

12.When will I get the NATA result?
